World Resiliency Week 2026 begins tomorrow. For five days, from 26 to 30 June, the week asks a plain question: what does resilience actually look like on an ordinary day?
This year the campaign has a new theme, The Pulse of Resilience: Fall. Feel. Rise. The idea behind it is that nobody is at their best every day, and that is normal. Everyone has a pulse that rises, dips and keeps going, and getting through life works much the same way. There are good days, flat days and hard days, and you can still reset.
A Week for the Ordinary Days
World Resiliency Week 2026 is a global campaign, run by partners around the world, that helps young people build resilience in everyday life. Rather than a one-off event, it runs as five themed days, each built around a small, practical idea that anyone can try and then share.
The focus is young people, from teenagers to their early twenties, along with the teachers, parents, youth leaders and communities who support them. The approach is simple: learn a tool, use it in real life, and post it, so that healthier and more honest content makes its way into the feed.
Everyone Has a Pulse
The team behind this year’s campaign chose “pulse” because it is something everyone shares. A pulse speeds up, slows down and returns to baseline, which is a truer picture of resilience than the idea of being switched on all the time.
The three words, Fall, Feel and Rise, carry the week. Fall normalises the low and off-beat days and takes some of the shame out of them. Feel gives space to process an emotion rather than push it down. Rise points to agency, the small choices that add up over time. Underneath it sits a steady prevention message: young people who can notice what they feel, reach for a tool and choose a next step are better protected when life gets hard.
Learn It, Try It, Share It
Taking part is meant to be light. Across the five days, the week follows one simple pattern: notice what is going on, use one tool that helps, make one small choice, then do something and share it.
Each day brings a short challenge tied to that day’s theme, and a handful of tools that take under two minutes to try. You can follow along, do a challenge, and post your own using the campaign hashtags, #FallFeelRise and #WorldResiliencyWeek.
For teachers and youth leaders, there is a partner playbook with ready-made posts, daily challenges and a simple guide to running the week with a class or a group.
Starts 26 June
The week runs from 26 to 30 June 2026, starting tomorrow. Each day will bring a new theme, a new challenge and a new article here on WRD News, so check back through the week as Fall, Feel and Rise unfold.
For now, there is one thing you can do today: notice your own pulse. Fast, slow, steady or off-beat, with no judgement. That awareness is where resilience begins, and tomorrow the week starts in earnest.
