Utah Man Arrested for Child Endangerment After Allegedly Giving Son Marijuana Gummies

A Utah man has been arrested for child endangerment after allegedly giving his 8-year-old son marijuana gummies, raising alarm over drug misuse and child safety. Craig Richard Goodliffe, 43, is facing charges including firearm possession by a restricted person and public intoxication, following a police investigation.

Authorities discovered troubling conditions at Goodliffe’s home, including over 9 pounds of marijuana products stored improperly and easily accessible to children, as well as two firearms. Court documents reveal that Goodliffe admitted to consuming marijuana and confessed to giving it to his child. Medical tests confirmed the presence of marijuana in the boy, who disclosed he was often given gummies before bed.

This shocking case underscores the severe dangers of exposing children to drugs. Improper storage and accessibility to marijuana products put young lives at risk, with long-term health and developmental concerns.
