UK Imposes Ban on Six New Synthetic Opioids

This latest measure follows the earlier classification of 15 other synthetic opioids as Class A drugs, which includes 14 nitazenes. The move is a part of broader government responses to recommendations from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) concerning novel benzodiazepines, acyl piperazine opioids, and nitazenes.
