State authorities seized 106,062 marijuana plants and arrested two individuals at an alleged black market grow farm in Ardmore on Tuesday. Wen Bin Huang, 34, and Wen Zhao Huang, 37, were charged with several complaints, including aggravated trafficking of marijuana, in Carter County District Court on Wednesday.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control revealed that the operation was part of a broader investigation into out-of-state marijuana trafficking. OBN Spokesman Mark Woodward noted that individuals were identified purchasing over 50 pounds of marijuana per visit from the farm. Additionally, operators were found transporting up to 1,000 pounds of marijuana at a time in refrigerated semi-trucks to black markets in cities like New York City, Chicago, and parts of Florida.
