Missouri Recalls Cannabis Products Over Testing Issues

The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) has issued a recall for 2,649 cannabis products under the “Twenty Twenty” brand due to improper testing procedures. These products, which include flower, ground flower, and pre-rolled joints, were tested at the unprocessed bud/flower stage rather than the final product stage, leading to non-compliance with state regulations. Although no adverse reactions have been reported, the DCR advises consumers to stop using these products and return them to the dispensary for disposal. Returned products will not affect a patient’s purchase limit.

Consumers experiencing any adverse reactions are urged to seek immediate medical attention and report the incident to the DCR. The department has provided contact information for reporting, including an email address and a complaint form. Additionally, the Missouri Poison Center is available for concerns related to possible poisoning. This recall highlights the importance of proper testing and compliance in the cannabis industry to ensure consumer safety.
