In-N-Out Owner Strikes a Chord Against Opioid Abuse

In a heartfelt initiative aimed at combating substance abuse, the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation, established by In-N-Out Burger owner Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson and her husband Sean Ellingson, has launched its annual #NotAnother campaign. This poignant campaign seeks to honour those impacted by the opioid epidemic through a digital gallery on the foundation’s website, where participants can share moving testimonials like “Not Another Friend” and “Not Another Daughter.”

Adding a musical note to the cause, Lynsi and Sean will take to the stage with their family band, .48 Special, in a sold-out benefit concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim on 12th October. The event will also feature the renowned Goo Goo Dolls, promising an unforgettable evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds.

The campaign’s visibility will be bolstered by a series of billboards in Las Vegas, over 250 bus shelter adverts in major cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco, and a dedicated kiosk at the Glendale Galleria. These efforts aim to spark a widespread conversation on substance abuse and human trafficking, issues at the core of the foundation’s mission.

The Slave 2 Nothing Foundation supports organisations that are on the frontline of fighting drug addiction and human trafficking, offering grants across states where In-N-Out operates. In conjunction with National Substance Use Prevention Month, In-N-Out restaurants will participate in the fundraising drive, placing donation canisters throughout October and generously matching contributions three-to-one, up to $300,000. This campaign highlights the power of community in tackling substance abuse. It’s heartening to see Lynsi and Sean join forces to make a real difference, showing that through music and shared stories, we can support those affected by addiction.
